Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque

I've decided to do reviews for the next few weeks since I've hauled and received a good amount of items for christmas and for my birthday.

Today's review is going to be on Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque.
I've been talking about skin care with friends a lot lately, since I've been hit by the big two five this year, so one of them was so kind to decided to get me this mask for my face. (Thank you Leann !) This product claims to help purify skin and visibly minimize pores. It is formulated with amazonian white clay to draw out oil, dirt and toxins that clog pores as well as included with Aloe Vera and Oatmeal to help soothe the skin.
The packaging itself was your usual plastic pot, which upon opening it you have another foam/plastic cover that separates the product from the cap. My first impression of this product was good, since at first glance you immediately notice how much product there are in the pot itself.

The consistency of the product was a lot more smooth than other clay mask products I've used before. It glides on to the skin very easily and it wasn't hard to wash off from my hands after applying to my face.

My first usage of this product was quiet surprising, since it had a burning and tingling sensation on my face that lasted about a minute or so.
Then the sensation went away slowly and became more of a calming and relaxing feeling. After leaving it on my face for about 20 minutes, I used a wetted paper towel and gently wiped off the clay from my face, and then when most of it was off, I splash my face with cold water close my pores even more.

After my first usage, I can see that most of my pores has shrunk in size, and my face felt very tight and soft.

I feel like this product is definitely worth the price it was marked, since Kiehl's products are mostly very expensive! But overall, I would purchase the Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque for myself after mine runs out.

OVERALL
Packaging : *** / 5 (Your usual plastic pot container)
Texture: *****/5 (Very smooth, non drip or overly drying)
Affect: ****/5 (Shrunk most of my pores, left my face feeling very smooth and clean)

If you would like to purchase this item because you have oily or combination skin, i would definitely recommend this mask to you!
